The joys of light
15/01/2014
Light. It's what can make or break a good image. Sometimes you can spend hours waiting for the moment that never comes, yet another day everything just seems right.
Winter is one of the best times of year for photographing in natural light, as the low sun can create wonderful shadows and the light that we do see is so much less harsh. The shorter days also bring the benefit of more time in bed before you get to see the sun rise in the morning, no early starts this time of year!
Whilst this winter seems to have been remarkably grey and dreary for much of the time, there have been a few bright moments and I've been fortunate enough to capture a few of them. I hope you enjoy the latest images I've added to the site!
